- Now let us sing to praise our God
- for all the manly things,
- for the laugh that’s bass,
- for the lofty view,
- for the headlong juggernaut moves;
- for taking up large spaces
- and yearning toward new thrills
- on the pinnacles of mountains
- while we favor soft, gold hills.
- Give praise for impulse, shouts and clanging,
- and raucous shaggy dogs,
- for crazy dreams and steadfast plans,
- for mischief and for puns.
- And also for the quiet within,
- that listens, learns and feels,
- for the spot that knows and cherishes
- the dark side of the wheel.
- Let’s cheer for all that balances
- our yin side of the Tao,
- for the glory of the daylight
- as beautiful as night, and for its source
- that warmly shares the heavens with the moon.
- Praise God in all Her wisdom
- for setting us to share,
- to meld and grow and celebrate
- the wonder of the pair.
